What is a Press Pass?
A Press Pass is similar to a Fest Pass. The Press Pass comes with 15 vouchers that can be used at any regular Festival screening (excluding Opening, Guggenheim Symposium, and Closing Night Gala which press must RSVP to in order to attend) and full access to the Cinema Lounge, most receptions and special events. Two vouchers must be redeemed for Special Programs. If you need additional vouchers they will be provided by the Press Office.
Can I be accredited for Gala events?
Yes. Please indicate on your press accreditation form whether you plan to attend these events. For more information on attending these events, please contact:

Can I bring a guest to a screening on my pass?
You can use your vouchers however you like.
How much does a Press Pass cost?
Once accredited, your Press Pass is offered at no charge to you. The only cost you will incur is parking.
How do I request interviews with filmmakers or film subjects?

Where can I find a schedule of press screenings?
The information will be updated on the Web site once the screening schedule is confirmed at SILVERDOCS.com in May. There will be a screening library if you cannot make a screen time for particular films.
When and where can I pick up my Press Pass?
Out-of-town journalists will pick up their pass at the Cinema Lounge on the first full day of SILVERDOCS, June 13. Details will be included in your acceptance letter. Local media may receive their credentials in advance by mail.
