Accreditation
SILVERDOCS encourages media to experience one of the greatest international documentary festivals in the world.
If you are a new applicant, you will need to fill out an Accreditation Form, to be e-mailed to publicrelations@SILVERDOCS.com or faxed to 301.495.6798. Press Accreditation forms, which must be submitted by June 5, are available for downloading below.
For returning journalists, please submit your coverage from SILVERDOCS 2006, as well as current contact information, to Jarlington@AFI.com or faxed to 301.495.6798.
When you request accreditation, the Press Office registers your name, media affiliation and other pertinent information. We will then review your request.
Please submit the following with your request form:
- Recent coverage of a film festival or a film-related story, film review or arts/entertainment story written or produced by you.
- If you are a freelance journalist/writer, please accompany our form with a letter of commitment on company letterhead from the assigning editor/producer.
- Please indicate what your story will be covering: i.e., a particular film, SILVERDOCS 2007 overall, etc. and what dates you plan to be at the Festival.
Note: Your submission will be reviewed and you will be notified, via e-mail, on the status of your request. If your application is approved, details will be sent to you stating how and where to pick up your pass. One applicant per request form, please.
