Bristol Baughan

Bristol Baughan is an award-winning film producer and freelance film consultant.
Baughan produced RACING DREAMS, directed by Marshall Curry and winner of the Jury Prize for Best Documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival 2009. Baughan is also currently Executive Producing BY THE PEOPLE: THE ELECTION OF BARACK OBAMA alongside Edward Norton. The film recently acquired by HBO and Sony Pictures, is set to release in November of 2009. Baughan Executive Produced the documentary WHICH WAY HOME directed by Rebecca Cammisa and distributed by HBO. Baughan’s first documentary, THE POWER OF THE GAME, was directed by Michael Apted and acquired by National Geographic. Her first fiction film, SON OF RAMBOW, was distributed by Paramount Vantage and now available on DVD.
Baughan co-founded GOOD in 2004, a multi-media company that produces content and provides a platform for people who give a damn. Baughan spearheaded GOOD Magazine's online video content in August 2006, directing and producing the multi-media company’s first short documentary films.
Baughan holds a B.A. in International Studies from the American University School of International Service and served under President Bill Clinton as a White House intern in the Fall of 2000. She co-wrote a novel with her father, David Baughan, called Sophia's Journey.
