Phill Branch
?A graduate of the American Film Institute (M.F.A., Screenwriting), Mr. Branch is currently an Assistant Professor of English and Cinema Studies at his undergraduate alma mater Hampton University (B.A., Mass Media). He is a recent National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) Diversity Producing Fellow and former president of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. In 2007, he was awarded a Screenwriting Fellowship from the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC). Phill is the co-host of a podcast at illprofessors.com and his column, Muse, can be found in Written Magazine.
