Seth Berlin

Seth D. Berlin is the Managing Partner of Levine Sullivan Koch & Schulz, LLP (www.lskslaw.com) and is based in the firm’s Washington, DC office. He has represented clients in First Amendment, defamation, privacy, access, reporter’s privilege, copyright, and trademark disputes for two decades. Mr. Berlin’s clients include television networks, radio broadcasters, film producers, newspapers, magazine publishers, websites, specialty publications, advocacy groups and political organizations. He speaks and writes frequently on First-Amendment issues, is a co-author of the seminal treatise on Newsgathering and the Law, and has testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on “Cameras in the Courtroom.” Mr. Berlin is the founder of the American Bar Association’s Media Advocacy Workshop and has taught media law at University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism. He is a graduate of Brown University and Harvard Law School.
